Take a Seat…

The empty chair represents a space, always open for you to come work through the deep things of life, weigh through grief and explore big dreams and big feelings. The empty chair is a safe space to be, to heal and to become.

An empty chair is waiting for you…

Clients I work with have often experienced profound changes in mood or behavior, suddenly or gradually. They don't feel like themselves. Their anxiety may not go away. They're stuck or simply not happy in current life choices. I help clients identify unhealthy patterns and triggers to distress. In our time together, clients develop skills to interrupt unhelpful or unwanted patterns in thought, mood and behavior. My clients are often looking to improve relationships, work toward goals and reduce stress. They want to gain healthy coping skills and learn positive reframing to improve functioning and stability.

Skills-based interventions are used to address difficult thought patterns, increase interpersonal effectiveness, and improve emotional regulation so clients can feel more balanced. Cognitive-behavioral approaches may be used to address persistent changes in mood, trauma or relationship distress that interfere with living a healthy, productive life.
